Leica D-Lux 5 with Swarovski Snapshot Adapter

I just received my Swarovski EL 10x42 binocular and noticed the snap-shot adapter that was included. Would the D-Lux 5 that you carry be a good camera to use with this adapter?

I looked into using the D-Lux 5 with the Swarovski snap-shot adapter, and although they do work together, I’m not sure it is very practical or useful to utilize that setup.

I would say you would have a more enjoyable time using either a camera with a much higher zoom than the D-Lux 5 can offer and using it by itself, or using the D-Lux 5 with a spotting scope that can offer a better magnification. The snap-shot adapter is a nice thrown-in with your binocular, but I wouldn’t invest a lot of money in a camera specifically for it.

However, the D-Lux 5 is a very nice camera, and is exceptionally good for digiscoping with a spotting scope.
