Digiscoping with my Nikon D60 and the Swarovski ATX Scope

Hi!  I'm considering the Swarovski ATX 25-60x85 Angled Spotting Scope.  Precisely what additional Swarovski components do you recommend for compatible use with a Nikon D60 camera?

Also, will this scope attach to a standard tripod mount?

Are lens covers included?  If not, do you have something to recommend?

Thanks in advance for your help and time!

Hi Clay,

Thank you for your interest in Eagle Optics and the Swarovski ATX spotting scope.

Lens covers are included with the scope, and it should be compatible with any standard ¼” tripod threading.

The digiscoping setup that should work the best is the Swarovski TLS-APO Digital Camera Adapter with a NikonT2 Adapter Ring.  You would use this by removing the lens from your D60, attaching the T2 Adapter Ring to the TLS-APO Digital Camera Adapter, then attach that adapter to the body of the D60.  It will work as a lens for the camera now.  There is also a separate component of the TLS-APO that replaces the eyepiece of the Swarovski ATX and allows the camera to securely attach to the Nikon D60.

If you have further questions, please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-289-1132. We'd be happy to talk with you in more detail about using the Swarovski ATX with your Nikon camera.
