I was about to order the Eagle Optics Ranger 8x32 binoculars from you, based on a birder acquaintance's rave reviews.
I really like the small size, light weight, wide field of view, and close focus range of this model. However, I wear glasses, and I'm wondering whether if I should sacrifice the smaller size and lighter weight of the 8x32 model to get the longer eye relief of the 8x42 model.
Does the wider field of view of the 8x32 model make up for the shorter eye relief? Do your customers who wear glasses generally find the 16 mm relief of the 8x32 model adequate?
I'd appreciate your opinion.
Thanks for your interest in Eagle Optics. The field of view won't account or make up for eye relief at all, though I don't know of any glasses wearers in particular that would have a problem with 16mm. This binocular appears to fit and work well with a variety of glasses wearers, so I don't foresee that you'll have an issue.
Generally speaking, anything over 15mm should be comfortable for you to use.
If you did have any problems, we can certainly do a full return or exchange within your 30-day return policy.
