Seeking single-adjustment tripod head

Hello,

I purchased from you the Kowa 883 and a Manfrotto 190 XB Tripod and Manfrotto 128RC Micro Fluid Tripod Head. The current head requires me to use several tightening/loosening adjustments.  (And, BTW, the latter does not lock into position w/o much force on the vertical knob.)

I seek a replacement head for either that tripod or, if necessary, a new tripod & head combo.

The new head would provide:

A single handle control for scanning horizontally and vertically.
The same handle able to lock the scope in any position.
Tension adjustment.

Web pages for your top recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Ed

Hi Ed,

The only type of head that I know of that would come close to your desired specifications would be a ball type head with a grip type mechanism to tighten or loosen the heads position.  We sell two such tripod heads.

This would be the only type of head that I know of where the handle will also lock the tripod head into position both vertically and horizontally.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to email or cal.

Thanks!
