What is the difference between Leica Ultravid and Leica Trinovid?

I have purchased many items from you. Please help me with this question:

What is the difference between Leica Ultravid and LeicaTrinovid?

Thanks,

 Hi Temple,

Thank you for writing and for your interest in Eagle Optics!

The optical differences aren’t huge, but when it comes to the glass, here’s what you need to know:

Both the Ultravid and the Trinovid have the HighLux System and P40 Phase corrected prisms.

Both the Ultravid and the Trinovid have the HDC Multi-layer coating scheme.

Only the Ultravid has infused Fluorine cells in the objective lens.

Only the Ultravid is the AquaDura hydrophobic lens coating.

Please let me know if there is anything else we can do for you.

Best regards,

Eagle Optics
