I have a ZeissDiaScope 85FL spotting scope with a straight eyepiece. Do you make a case for it to take on an airplane? I will be flying from CA to TX next year.
Also, I've always wondered if there something big enough to carry the scope, my binos (Zeiss as well) and my digital camera all together in the field. Thank you.
Thanks for your inquiry. The only scope case we have for the Diascope is the soft case made by Zeiss for that scope: Zeiss 85mm Straight Spotting Scope Field Case
I often travel with a scope and will use a similar case (which comes with a carry strap) and just travel with the scope slung over my shoulder and then in the overhead travel bin while on the plane. Sometimes I'll even put the scope (in the soft case) in my carry-on luggage.
If you are looking for a hard-sided case, I don't know of one made specifically for that scope. Your best bet there would be to go to a sporting goods store or gun shop to see what customizable options they may have.
In regard to you second question, we carry a new backpack made by an outfit out of Belgium, Kite Optics.
