Can I trade in my older Swarovski scope? Will the current adapters fit it?

I bought a Swarovski STS 80mm from you about 10 yrs ago and it's still like new. My primary purpose is for birdwatching and now also digiscoping.

I'm now looking to purchase a new scope along with camera adapters--specifically the Swarovski line potentially the ATX 25-60x85.

Can I use my existing 20-60 Eyepiece with the ATX scope?

Do you take trade-in's?  Once I buy a new one, probably won't use the one I already own.

Will the TLS APO work with my old STS 80?

Dear Tom,
Thanks for your interest in Eagle Optics.

Unfortunately, your 20-60 zoom eyepiece will not fit the ATX. The ATX is a modular system with a modular ocular with an eyepiece built in.

Regarding your question on trade-ins, we now offer a program to sell gently-used high-end optics on eBay in exchange for store credit. If you're interested in selling your scope this way, please call our office at 1-800-289-1132.

Finally, there is a specific TLS APO made for the STS scopes: Swarovski TLS - APO Digital Camera Adapter for ATM/ATS/STM/STS. You would need this, a T-ring specific to the camera body, and a DSLR camera body.

If you have further questions, feel free to give a call and any of us will be happy to help.
